Description
The City of Flagstaff is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Events (PROSE) Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide the development, management, programming, and maintenance of parks, open spaces, recreational centers, and community events over the next 15-20 years. The plan should align with community needs, including 10-minute access to parks and open spaces, equity, demographic trends, sustainability, and financial realities. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a detailed inventory and assessment of existing city parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities, as well as engaging with the community to gather input and develop a robust community engagement strategy. The consultant will also develop a Master Plan vision statement, establish long-range goals and policies, and provide data-driven support for future budgeting and funding opportunities.
