Description
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is seeking qualified contractors to expand the existing airfield electrical vault at President Donald J. Trump International Airport by approximately 2,500 sq ft. The scope includes demolition of portions of the existing structure, interior renovation, roof replacement, HVAC and fire‑protection system upgrades, relocation of regulators, ALCMS control system, fiber‑optic and power cabling, and replacement of the standby emergency generator (additive alternate). All work must comply with FAA, FDOT, and federal labor‑law requirements, and must be performed in accordance with the detailed plans and specifications that become available after September 7, 2026. Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes by 2:00 PM on October 6, 2026. A pre‑bid conference is scheduled for September 23, 2026 (attendance encouraged but not mandatory). The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all licensing, bonding, and insurance requirements.
