Description
This Invitation for Bid seeks a qualified contractor to provide full‑service hazardous waste disposal for Caltrans facilities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The work includes bin rental, pickup, transport, treatment, final disposal or recycling of hazardous, regulated, biological and universal waste, as well as required documentation, manifests, spill diaries and quarterly reporting. The contract is a 36‑month on‑call agreement with a hard ceiling of $4,237,048 and a 3 % DVBE participation requirement. All work must be performed by the awardee (no subcontracting) and the contractor must hold a full suite of state and federal hazardous‑material permits, motor carrier permits, CSLB HAZ certification, insurance, and pollution‑liability coverage.
• Provide 20‑ and 40‑cubic‑yard bins, deliver, exchange, maintain and remove them at contract end.
• Perform hazardous‑waste pickup, transport, manifest preparation and disposal per RCRA/CalEPA regulations, with emergency response within 4 hours.
• Submit monthly invoices with detailed line‑items, DVBE participation forms, and quarterly waste‑quantity reports.
