The US Air Force is seeking information from industry providers for market research and planning purposes to shape its acquisition strategy for an upcoming requirement encompassing both manual automotive cleaning facility/repair services and associated wash rack commodities at Scott AFB, IL. The Government is looking for feedback on the feasibility of a single-award solution versus a split acquisition strategy and information about industry norms. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary tools, parts, equipment, materials, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform preventative maintenance and repair services on the automotive wash rack equipment.
Some key points to consider are:
• The contractor must provide a certified technician(s) fully qualified to perform preventative maintenance and repairs to the wash rack.
• The contractor must maintain all maintenance and repair records for services provided by the contractor and make them available to the Government upon request.
• The contractor must comply with applicable laws and safety regulations, including OSHA.
• The contractor must provide safety equipment and clothing necessary to perform maintenance and repair services at no additional cost to the Government.
• The contractor must respond to repair service calls within 6 hours after notification during normal business hours and within 12 hours after notification outside of normal business hours.
