Description
The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a qualified and licensed vendor to perform repair and/or replacement of the ceiling and roof of Freezer 67, as well as upgrading the HVAC unit in one of the facility's industrial, walk-in coolers at the Centralia Correctional Center. The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment related to providing the services detailed within this contract. The contract term is from the last dated signature of the parties through June 30, 2026. Key aspects of the job include:
• Replacement of the ceiling and roof of Freezer 67 with a new ceiling and roof system
• Upgrading the HVAC unit in one of the facility's industrial, walk-in coolers
• Removal of all old units, covering of wall penetrations, and cutting of new wall penetrations
• Compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and ordinances
• Provision of warranties for supplies and services
• Adherence to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and payment of prevailing wages to laborers, workers, and mechanics performing services on public works projects
