Description
The Town of Billerica is seeking an independent elevator consultant or qualified design team to evaluate, design, and oversee the modernization of the hydraulic passenger elevator at the Billerica Senior Center. The consultant will produce a complete, manufacturer‑neutral bid package, assist during the bidding phase, and provide construction‑administration services, including site observations and coordination of state inspections.
• Perform a full condition assessment of the existing elevator, code compliance review, and cost‑estimate development.
• Produce detailed bid‑ready drawings, specifications, and schedule for a competitive modernization package.
• Attend the optional pre‑bid site visit, respond to technical questions, and conduct up to four documented construction‑observation visits plus acceptance testing.
• Deliver all reports in PDF and editable electronic formats; all work becomes Town property upon payment.
