HIF Tree Cooler A/C Replacement

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to replace two condensing units and associated evaporator units for the HIF Tree Cooler A/C system. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the replacement, including piping, electrical connections, thermostat, silfos, refrigerant, and nitrogen. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order, and the government estimates the magnitude of the construction to be between $25,000 and $100,000. • The replacement of two condensing units and associated evaporator units • The removal of old refrigerant and disposal of old equipment • The cleaning and leak testing of new and existing line sets • The testing and recharging of the system with new refrigerant • The provision of all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the replacement The offeror shall provide pricing for all items, and the award will be made to the responsible and acceptable offeror whose quote provides the lowest price to the government.
