Derelict Vessel Removal, Transport, and Disposal - 32' Islander - Re-Solicit

The Escambia County Marine Resources Division is seeking a contractor to remove, transport, and dispose of a 32' Islander derelict vessel. The vessel is currently located near Pensacola Pass and has been broken apart due to Tropical Storm Bertha. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the US Navy for any necessary permissions and for removing all vessel-related debris. The contractor will also be required to photo-document the removal process and provide a daily written report to the County. * Key responsibilities include: * Removing the derelict vessel and all related debris * Coordinating with the US Navy for necessary permissions * Photo-documenting the removal process * Providing a daily written report to the County * Transporting the vessel to a pre-authorized landfill * Obtaining pre-authorization from the County for landfill selection and disposal * Paying tipping fees for the vessel
