Citywide Canal Armoring

The City of Fort Myers is seeking a licensed and qualified firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Canal Armoring of several canals across the City. The selected CMAR will be responsible for delivering the project in accordance with City standards, within budget, and by the established deadline. The project includes pre-construction services, construction services, and grant administration. The CMAR must demonstrate experience in the installation of canal armoring materials, traffic operations, and municipal infrastructure construction management. Key responsibilities include: • Pre-construction services such as evaluation of constructability and review of project phasing • Construction services including oversight of traffic management and canal refurbishment operations • Grant administration for Grant #4337227-R between the State of Florida Division of Emergency Services and the City of Fort Myers The project must be fully completed and accepted by the City of Fort Myers on or before October 31, 2026.
