United Kingdom Hazardous Waste Disposal

The United Kingdom Hazardous Waste Disposal Contract is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the removal, transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials (HM) and hazardous waste (HW) generated by the United States Department of Defense (DoD) installations in the United Kingdom. The contract will have a 30-month base period and a 30-month option period. The contractor will be responsible for performing various services, including removal, transportation, treatment, and disposal of HM/HW, as well as providing supplies and equipment. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to environmental protection, health, and safety. Some key aspects of the contract include: • The contractor must utilize only Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs) that are listed on the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Qualified Facilities List (QFL). • The contractor must provide qualified personnel to perform work under the contract, including personnel who are trained in hazardous waste operations and emergency response. • The contractor must ensure that all personnel handling HM/HW are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to environmental protection, health, and safety.
