Description
The State of California Department of General Services is seeking bids for the modernization of the elevator at the Department of Education, Diagnostic Center, Southern California. The project includes replacing motors, door controls, hydraulic pump machine, hydraulic piston, and elevator controllers, as well as installing a battery back-up system, 2-way communication system, elevator pit lighting, smoke detector, and upgrades to the cab interiors, flooring, ceiling, lighting, and fans. The project requires a B or C-11 license and is open only to Small Business and Micro Business contractors certified through the California Department of General Services.
