The Navy is soliciting firms to refurbish a large inventory of Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) components removed from submarine renewals. Work will be performed under a firm‑fixed‑price task order (TO 002) against an existing IDIQ contract, with an 18‑month performance period. The Government will supply all removed components; the contractor must provide labor, new gaskets, O‑rings, hardware, tooling, testing, documentation, and MIL‑STD‑2073 packaging, then ship finished parts to a Government storage facility in Mechanicsburg, PA. Deliverables include a detailed project plan, technical work documents, condition‑found reports, monthly status reports, and final acceptance documentation. All work must comply with Navy security, CUI, and quality standards.
• Refurbishment of ~300+ high‑precision diesel‑engine parts (fuel pumps, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, valves, dampers, pumps, blowers, etc.).
• Requires extensive documentation (CDRL A004‑A008) and strict adherence to technical manuals and MIL‑STD‑2073 packaging.
• Fixed‑price pricing broken out by 25 refurbishment sub‑tasks; no travel required; Government provides transportation of components to contractor’s facilities.
