Cornerstone Storm Drain Replacement

The City of Brandon is seeking bids for the Cornerstone Storm Drain Replacement project. The project involves the removal and replacement of existing storm drainage and all other associated work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The contract time is 60 consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being $1000 per calendar day thereafter. • The project includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of existing storm drainage and all other associated work required to complete the project. • Bidders must submit their proposals in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the City Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. • The City of Brandon reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
