Madrone Channel - Slide Gates

The Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) is seeking a qualified contractor to replace three existing carbon‑steel, motor‑operated slide gates in the Madrone Channel near Morgan Hill, CA, with new stainless‑steel gates of approximately 12 ft W × 4 ft H × 8 in D. The work includes removal of the existing gates, fabrication and installation of the new gates, provision of all labor, equipment, materials, safety programs, and coordination of a three‑week water‑shutdown window provided by Valley Water. Installations are to be completed in two scheduled windows: Year 1 (April 1 – August 31 2026) for Gates 3 and 5, and Year 2 (April 1 – August 31 2027) for Gate 9.
