2026-2027 ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District is seeking Statement of Qualifications (RFQ) for Architects, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers for various construction projects beginning May 1, 2026, or soon thereafter, and ending April 30, 2027, with an option to renew for an additional term contract year. The projects may include new construction, renovations, and additions, lighting retrofits, HVAC renovations, re-roofing projects, parking lot improvements, surveys, project management, master planning, on-call services, and performance engineering. The district will select the most highly qualified provider based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for each project or series of projects, and then negotiate a contract at a fair and reasonable price. The selected provider will be required to provide professional services, including design, construction administration, and other related services. Some key points to consider are: • The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. • The district will evaluate proposals based on the experience of the firm, past performance, proposed personnel and management team, references, and meeting overall needs. • The selected provider will be required to provide proof of professional liability insurance and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Buy American Provision. • The district will negotiate the terms of the proposal with the highest ranked vendor.
