Mid-plume groundwater remediation at the Walton and Lonsbury Superfund Site, Attleboro, Massachusetts

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New England District is issuing a pre-solicitation announcement for a single award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) service contract to perform mid-plume groundwater remediation at the Walton & Lonsbury Superfund Site in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The site is a former electroplating facility that operated from 1940 to 2007 and has undergone several environmental investigation and remediation activities since 2010. The contract will involve using zerovalent iron (ZVI) to reduce hexavalent chromium (Cr[VI]) to the less toxic trivalent chromium in groundwater before it discharges into Bliss Brook. • The contract is set-aside for certified small businesses. • The solicitation requirements and contract documents will be available on or about December 2025. • The solicitation will only be available online through the System for Award Management website (www.sam.gov) and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (https://piee.eb.mil/). • All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the USACE New England District.
