Newport Public Works Shop Remodel

The City of Newport is seeking quotes for an upstairs remodel of the Public Works facility. The project includes demolition, flooring, framing, doors, windows, electrical, and drywall work. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and testing necessary to complete the work. The city intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible contractor whose quote meets the requirements of the RFQ. • The project consists of remodeling existing upstairs space within an occupied Public Works facility. • The building will remain occupied during construction, and contractors shall consider phasing, access, noise, and coordination with City staff. • A site visit is required to be eligible to submit a quote. • The city reserves the right to request clarification of quotes, negotiate scope clarifications prior to award, and reject any or all quotes.
