Description
The University of Arizona is seeking a qualified firm to deliver a full‑service, vendor‑managed water‑treatment program for its central utility plants, covering design, installation, operation, maintenance, chemical supply, testing, training, and emergency support. The contract is initially one year with up to four additional one‑year renewal options, and requires close‑by on‑site service and 24/7 emergency coverage. The award will be based on technical capability (65%) and cost (35%).
• Scope includes high‑pressure steam boilers, chilled‑water loops, cooling‑tower systems, and purified water distribution.
• Vendor must provide chemicals, reagents, bulk‑storage containers, non‑proprietary controllers, and on‑site weekly service (minimum 2 hrs/plant per week).
• Mandatory site walk‑through on June 4, 2026; optional pre‑proposal conference on June 3, 2026; questions due by June 10, 2026; final proposal due June 23, 2026 via GEP/Quantum.
