The City of Gardner is seeking proposals for the sale of a 67,007+/- square foot site, subdivided out of a larger parcel, and improved with a 32,727+/- square foot, multi-story brick/masonry framed school building, with an appraised value of $755,000. The property is being sold under the provisions of Chapter 30B of the General Laws of the Commonwealth. Prospective purchasers should make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, wholly or in part, and to accept bids deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
• The property is being sold as-is, with no warranties or representations as to its condition.
• The successful proposer will be required to make full payment on the sale price plus a deed recording fee within thirty (30) days following the opening of proposals.
• The successful proposer will also be required to sign, under penalties of perjury, a statement that neither they nor any other person who would gain equity to the property, have tax delinquencies.
• Proposers should be aware of any and all zoning regulations for the particular area.
• The City of Gardner is not liable for any costs incurred by the offeror in submitting this proposal.
