Description
The Van Buren Intermediate School District is soliciting competitive bids for the replacement of multiple doors throughout various buildings. The project includes the removal and disposal of existing doors and the installation of new doors, including fire doors and classroom doors. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and complying with applicable federal, state, and local safety and code requirements. The project is expected to start on June 8th, 2026, and must be completed by August 14th, 2026.
• The project includes the replacement of 12 classroom doors at the Bert Goens Learning Center, 8 fire doors at the Van Buren Tech main building entrance, 20 classroom doors at Van Buren Tech, 6 classroom doors at the Maple Creek Education Center, and 1 exterior door at the Transportation building.
• The contractor must provide a company profile, project experience, and warranty information with their bid proposal.
• The contractor must also provide a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship with the school district's board of education or superintendent.
• The project requires compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act and the contractor must provide a certification of compliance.
