USPS SOLICITATION - EEO - EXPERIENCED REDRESS MEDIATORS - MAY 2026

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking experienced mediators to facilitate settlement agreements for the USPS's ADR Program (EEO) Resolve Employment Disputes Reach Equitable Solutions Swiftly (REDRESS) and Employee Labor Relations Manual (ELM) 650 mediations. The selected mediators will enter into an Ordering Agreement as independent contractors and be paid on a per-case basis. They will be required to have a minimum of two years of experience performing mediations and the right skill sets and availability to invest the required number of hours a week to facilitate mediations. The mediators will be regularly evaluated for performance by the USPS Contracting Officer's Representative. Key aspects of the job include: • Conducting mediations utilizing both the transformative and facilitative mediation styles • Facilitating settlement agreements for EEO discrimination and Executive Administrative Schedule (EAS) Disciplinary Appeal complaints • Complying with EEOC regulations, Employee Labor Relations Manual, Section 650, and USPS quality and timeliness standards • Being available for mediation during all hours to contact the appropriate personnel on a case • Completing the required USPS mediator Transformative and Facilitative Skills training class • Receiving a non-sensitive security clearance issued by the United States Postal Inspection Service
