The Milwaukee County project “Bender Park Roadway and Drainage” calls for a full reconstruction of the existing park roadway and associated storm‑water infrastructure. The work encompasses demolition, grading, base preparation, asphalt paving, concrete curbs and gutters, new drainage pipes, inlet structures, riprap, geotextile, erosion control, and site‑wide landscaping and aesthetic improvements. Several optional alternates allow bidders to propose additional or substituted items such as native seed‑turf, vegetated dry ponds, and winter‑plow asphalt wedging.
• Reconstruct 4 ¼‑in. HMA pavement (lower and upper layers) with stone base and concrete curb‑and‑gutter.
• Install new HDPE and reinforced‑concrete storm‑sewer culverts, inlet structures, riprap, geotextile fabric, and erosion‑control measures.
• Perform extensive earthwork, clearing and grubbing, top‑soil placement, and landscape restoration (seed‑turf, sod, dry ponds).
• Provide optional alternates for TBE participation, vegetated dry‑pond construction, and additional drainage or paving components.
