Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Cascade Machinery

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Cascade Machinery and Electric of Seattle, WA for the procurement of nine duplicate spare Carver centrifugal pumps for NOAA Ship Fairweather. The sole source determination is based on notification from Carver Pump that Cascade Machinery and Electric is the sole authorized distributor for this procurement. • The procurement is for nine duplicate spare Carver centrifugal pumps. • The pumps are for NOAA Ship Fairweather. • The sole source determination is based on notification from Carver Pump. • Firms that believe they can provide the required service may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 10 days after publication of the synopsis.
