Description
The Liberty Public School District #53 is seeking a qualified contractor to remove, dispose of, and replace exterior doors, frames, hardware, and related accessories at seven district facilities. The scope includes demolition of existing doors, field measurements, fabrication of new doors to the “Special Lite” FRP aluminum hybrid specification, supply and installation of panic hardware, ADA operators, mullions, thresholds, and associated electrical work, plus final finishing and site security. The contractor must submit shop drawings for approval, coordinate with the district’s project manager, and adhere to prevailing‑wage and insurance requirements.
• Remove and dispose of existing exterior doors, frames, glass, and hardware at seven sites.
• Supply, fabricate, and install new “Special Lite” FRP aluminum hybrid doors with specified panic bars, ADA operators, mullions, hinges, closers, thresholds, and hardware.
• Provide shop drawings, obtain district approval, perform electrical wiring for panic‑bar systems, and secure each site nightly.
• Comply with Missouri prevailing‑wage Order 32, provide required bonds, insurance, and E‑Verify documentation, and complete work between 1 June 2026 and 1 August 2026.
