Child Safety Seat (car seats)

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for Infant Passenger Car Seats for grants for the program Safe Riders linked to Chapter 25, Traffic Operations, Title 43 Administrative Code, Subchapter M - TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM. The long-term goal of the program is to reduce traffic crashes and the resulting deaths, injuries, and property damage to the lowest possible level. These items are directly linked to grant funding from the Texas Department of Transportation to distribute car seats to low-income families in Texas. • The HHSC will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB. • Bidders must submit a comprehensive Response which includes all required information and documentation as outlined in this IFB. • The estimated historical spend for the same or similar goods or services is $205,050.00 to $450,000.00 for the period FY 2025. • The contract start date is anticipated to be June 01, 2026.
