SJSU Duncan Hall Steam Line Replacements

The San Jose State University is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested and qualified design-builders to design and build the Duncan Hall Steam Line Replacements project. The project includes the removal and replacement of steam to heating hot water systems, installation of water-to-water heat pumps, and modification of existing HVAC systems. The estimated project design-build cost is $5,550,000. The successful proposer will be required to achieve three percent DVBE participation in contracting construction projects. * The project is a public works project subject to prevailing wage rate laws. * Respondents must be prequalified with California State University. * The University will give a small business a bid advantage of five percent up to a maximum of $50,000. * The project will be enrolled into the CSU Builders Risk Insurance Program (BRIP) and may be enrolled into the CSU Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).
