Description
The Missouri Department of Transportation Northeast District is seeking a Vacuum Sweeper through a Single Feasible Source (SFS) process. The selected provider is STEC Equipment, but if this SFS posting is contested and it is determined that STEC Equipment is not the Single Feasible Source, the process will be stopped and a bid opportunity will be developed and posted. The specifications for the Vacuum Sweeper include a working width of 70 inches, horsepower requirements of 70 hp, and a weight of 3700 lbs.
• The Vacuum Sweeper should have a PTO of 540 rpm and a height of 85 inches.
• The length and width of the Vacuum Sweeper should be 180 inches and 76 inches, respectively.
• The hydraulics should include 1 Double Acting Rear Remotes, and the tipping height should be 84 inches.
• The container should have a capacity of 5.2 cubic yards, and the tires should be 19 x 17.
• The wander hose should be 18 inches long and 10 inches in diameter.
