Trip Hazard Removal of Raised Sidewalk

The City of Hayward is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to perform trip hazard removal of raised sidewalks. The contractor will be responsible for grinding or saw-cutting vertical offsets in concrete sidewalk panels to remove tripping hazards and achieve a smooth, uniform transition between panels. The work will be performed in Districts 1 and 8 of the City of Hayward, and the contractor must have a Class A, C-8, or D-06 contractor license. The proposal must include a cover letter, contact and customer service information, reference and experience, capacity to perform the work, project scope and approach, prices, and insurance confirmation. • The contractor must have experience in performing similar work, particularly in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, or San Mateo Counties. • The contractor must have a valid City of Hayward business license. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The contractor must submit a complete proposal, including a cost proposal, and confirm that they have met all the RFQ requirements.
