Pre-Qualification List for Engineering and Support Services

The City of Westminster is seeking to establish a pre-qualification list of professional engineering firms to provide various engineering and support services on an as-needed basis. The City may award to multiple firms within each category listed in Attachment B – Categories Form. Only firms listed on the prequalified firm list will be considered for future task orders within their prequalified categories. The scope of work includes general civil engineering, water and wastewater, drainage and stormwater management, roadway schematic planning and design, bridges/structural, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. The contract term is up to five years, with an initial term of three years and two optional one-year renewals. • The City will utilize a prequalified firm on an as-needed basis, with no minimum amount of work guaranteed under these agreements. • Compensation will be based on time and materials with a not-to-exceed limit agreed upon by both the Consultant and the City before work begins for each task order. • Proposers are encouraged to focus on their areas of strength and are not expected to team with sub-consultants to cover all potential project types. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposal. • The City will make progress payments based on monthly invoices submitted by the consultant in accordance with the approved Purchase Order.
