Security Alarm System - SSF Tax Collector's Office 1024 Mission Road

The County of San Mateo Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office is seeking proposals for the design and installation of a security intrusion alarm system for their new 650-square-foot satellite office in South San Francisco, California. The system should provide intrusion/burglar alarm monitoring, support the add-on of commercial quality hold-up alarm buttons, and communicate with a UL listed monitoring center via cellular data. The proposer should have experience installing and monitoring security alarm systems in public facilities and provide a modern, scalable system that meets rigorous security standards. The project includes system design and installation, monitoring services, maintenance and support, and compliance with applicable UL standards and local jurisdiction regulations. • The system should be readily functional with any UL listed monitoring operator without requiring replacement of control panels or field visits. • The proposer should provide a warranty period of one year after system turnover and offer ongoing service agreements. • The project timeline includes a tentative schedule for proposer selection, work commencement, and system completion. • The County has a Procurement Preference for Local Businesses Ordinance, which gives preference to local businesses and non-profits in County procurements. • The proposer should submit a technical proposal, pricing proposal, and other required documents through the eProcurement portal.
