Request for Information (RFI) – Communication Equipment – El Salvador

The United States Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing communication equipment and related services to the Government of El Salvador. The scope of work includes developing an installation design plan, manufacturing and delivering commercial furnished equipment, removing and installing navigation and communication equipment, conducting verification and validation of electronic navigation equipment, and providing on-site technical assistance training. Interested vendors are invited to submit a capability statement discussing their capabilities to meet the requirements of the statement of work. • The primary place of performance will be at the Contractor’s facility and in El Salvador. • The Contractor must develop a schedule to support the procurement of the equipment and must include sufficient time to allow for the USG inspection and vendor shipping preparation. • The Contractor must provide a company authorized service representative, experienced in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures and training. • The Contractor must submit training course content, to include a copy of all printed instructional materials, and tentative daily training schedule to the COR no less than ten business days prior to start date of training.
