On-Call Professional Information Technology Services

The Port of Long Beach is issuing a Request for Proposal to secure on‑call professional information technology services. The Port’s Information Management Division needs both general and specialized IT expertise to support daily operations and strategic initiatives across all Port divisions. Multiple contracts may be awarded, allowing the Port to engage several qualified consultants on an as‑needed basis. Services include system maintenance, security, network support, software development, and other IT disciplines as defined in the Scope of Services. • On‑call, flexible engagement model – consultants are called upon when needs arise. • Broad IT scope: infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, data management, etc. • Multiple contracts possible – the Port expects to award more than one contract. • Services must be reliable, secure, and efficient to support Port operations. • Contract period runs until the Port’s needs are satisfied or the contract is terminated per terms.
