6007-DOP Vacuum Excavation Trailer

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities/Division of Power is seeking bids for the purchase of one Compact Hydro Excavation Trailer. The trailer must meet specific requirements, including being a manufacture certified reseller partnership, and the bidder must submit an outline of its experience and work history in supplying similar equipment for the past five years. The bidder must also provide references from four separate contracts. The warranty period shall be a minimum of 12 months, and the successful bidder shall supply two copies of all parts lists, service, maintenance, operation, and overhaul manuals for the chassis, engine, transmission, drive line, electrical, fuel, and emissions upon delivery of the equipment to the City of Columbus. • The Compact Hydro Excavation Trailer must meet specific requirements, including having all fluid levels at the manufacturer’s recommended full capacity. • The bidder must submit a copy of dealer’s build sheets with the bid. • The successful bidder shall supply two copies of all parts lists, service, maintenance, operation, and overhaul manuals for the chassis, engine, transmission, drive line, electrical, fuel, and emissions upon delivery of the equipment to the City of Columbus. • The warranty period shall be a minimum of 12 months. • The successful bidder shall contract with a warranty service provider whose primary business is the sale and/or repair of the equipment proposed in this bid proposal.
