Sole Source Contract for Class 2 Engineering Drawings for the Cuba Design-Pilot Desalination Facility

The Village of Cuba is seeking a sole-source contract for Class 2 engineering drawings for the Cuba Design-Pilot Desalination Facility. The contract requires the preparation of design-development drawings for the KNeW™ zero-waste desalination system, which is a proprietary technology owned by KNEW HOLDINGS. The contractor must possess direct engineering control over the proprietary process, demonstrate experience producing Class 2 engineering drawings for KNeW™-based systems, and provide secure handling of trade-secret operational parameters. The scope of work includes conversion of Class 3 design into detailed Class 2 engineering documents, process engineering, system integration, and design-development level calculations. • The contract term is estimated to be approximately 180 calendar days from contract execution. • The contract amount is $1,300,354.00. • The contractor must maintain capability to integrate prior Class 3 design work performed under sole-source contract. • The contractor must deliver design documents that preserve consistency with the KNeW™ process specifications.
