The University of Utah Health is seeking a qualified Brokerage Services Provider to obtain Excess Professional Liability Insurance. The selected vendor will provide actuarial services, assist with evaluating the professional liability insurance program, and ensure compliance with insurance regulations. The contract term will be for three years with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vendor must have experience in placing excess liability coverage for similar-sized healthcare systems and demonstrate technical capability, prior experience, and qualifications. • The vendor will provide detailed information on their ability to perform the services requested. • The vendor will provide a proposed scope of services, including responses to specific questions. • The vendor will provide evidence of financial responsibility and demonstrate access to top-rated carriers. • The vendor will provide a management plan, including claims advocacy and support services. • The vendor will provide actuarial services, including reserve analysis and projections.
