Description
The Town of Dover is seeking bids for the replacement of the DPW fuel system. The project includes the construction of a new fuel system with a canopy and above-ground storage tank, as well as the removal of the existing above-ground fuel system. The project must be completed within 180 days. Bidders are required to submit electronic sealed bids, and a non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on April 2, 2026. The Town of Dover reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, or to accept any total bid or unit price which it deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Dover.
• The project is dependent on appropriation at the Dover Town Meeting, scheduled to begin on May 4, 2026.
• The contract award will be issued in early July 2026, at the start of the Town's fiscal new year.
• Prevailing wage rates per MGL c149 s26 to 27D inclusive issued by the Dept. of Labor Standards will apply.
• Bidding is per the MGL Chapter 30s 39M.
