Facilities Waste and Disposal Services

The County of Wayne is requesting bids for waste bin and waste disposal services at various locations throughout Wayne County. The contract term will be for three years with two additional one-year extension options. The bidder must have five years of experience providing waste bin and waste disposal services and must have worked on at least three comparable projects within the past five years. The bid must include a completed bid form, pricing sheet, and response to specifications/scope of work requirements form. • The bidder must provide and empty five waste bins at specified locations and frequencies. • The bidder must comply with applicable local, state, and federal waste laws and regulations. • The bidder must place state and federally approved covered containers in the amounts and locations noted in the IFB. • The bidder must care for and maintain all waste bins and replace any bins that become unfit for waste or recycling storage. • The bidder must be responsible for any damage caused by accident or negligence to buildings or other property while performing the work. • The bidder must cover all costs incurred from a cleanup associated with an environmental hazard created by the contractor.
