The Shelby County Board of Education (acting for Memphis‑Shelby County Schools) is seeking a firm‑fixed‑price, non‑exclusive vendor to supply and distribute plain, non‑carbonated, sugar‑free bottled water in 8‑oz and 16.9‑oz plastic bottles to every school in the district on a weekly basis. The contract will run through February 29 2024 with two optional one‑year extensions, and pricing must be held for at least one year. Bids are evaluated on a line‑item basis, allowing multiple vendors to win separate size categories.
• Weekly delivery of approximately 138,000 cases of bottled water across 138 school locations (elementary, K‑8, middle, high).
• Two product line‑items (8‑oz and 16.9‑oz) awarded individually; non‑exclusive – SCBE may purchase from any vendor.
• Vendor must maintain required Tennessee contractor licensing, certificate of existence, substantial insurance coverage, and ensure any third‑party carriers have comparable insurance and background clearances.
• No bid bond required; bids must be submitted in hard copy with an electronic PDF copy by Jan 17 2023 2 PM CST.
