Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to completely demolish a dangerous residential structure located at 1616 West Crawford Street, remove all associated debris, and restore the site to a clean, graded condition. The contract requires full utility disconnection, demolition of foundations, concrete, and ancillary structures, disposal of up to eight daily loads at the city landfill, and compliance with all safety, environmental, and insurance requirements. The work must be finished within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages for delays and a retention holdback until final acceptance.
• Complete demolition of foundations, footings, slabs, garages, sheds, and all ancillary structures.
• Remove and dispose of all debris (max 8 loads/day) and back‑fill excavations to ≥ 95 % compaction.
• Obtain demolition permit, provide performance/payment bonds, maintain required insurance, and adhere to a 2‑year warranty period.
