On-Call Engineering Services for New and Replacement Of Distribution And Transmission Mains

The City of Tucson is seeking up to 10 consultants to provide on-call engineering services for new and replacement of potable and non-potable water distribution and transmission mains. The scope of work includes contract documents for construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates, as well as pre-engineering, design, permitting, procurement, construction support, and project closeout services. The individual project limit is not to exceed $1,000,000. The city is looking for firms with experience in water infrastructure-related projects and familiarity with design standards, rules, regulations, and administrative codes of local, state, and federal governmental agencies. • Key services include: pre-engineering and design, post-design and construction phase services, and consultant coordination and project management. • The city will evaluate firms based on experience and qualifications of the project team, firm design experience on similar projects, and past performance. • The contract will be for a fixed price, and the city reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with or without cause.
