PSL 40k Thrust Stand Refurbishment Design Study

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking a vendor to perform a design study for the refurbishment of the PSL 40k thrust stand. The study will determine the extent of repairs and/or modifications needed after years of use in a harsh environment. The vendor will provide three separate quotes broken down by three options, and the work will be performed at the NASA Glenn Research Center. The period of performance is from 07/01/2026 to 10/23/2026. Key aspects of the job include: • Refurbishment design study for the PSL 40k thrust stand • Three levels of options to be provided at different engineering levels • Utilization of the same interface and calibration cart as the 50k thrust stand • Disassembly and inspection of the 40k thrust stand • Provision of engineering support and technician support by NASA • Non-conforming deliverables will be evaluated by NASA Glenn Research Center
