Fire Station 85 Project - CMAR (Amended 3/03)

The City of Peachtree City is seeking a qualified contractor to submit a proposal for the construction of a new Fire Station using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery method. The project involves building a two-story, three-bay fire station with approximately 13,075 square feet. The contractor will be responsible for providing construction management services, including preconstruction and construction services. The proposal should include a complete breakdown of costs, a description of the company's history and capability, relevant experience, project personnel, and project approach. • The project is located at 1262 South Highway 74, Peachtree City, GA 30269. • The site is 5.8 acres and was the old Fayette County Animal Shelter site. • All existing buildings have been demolished, except for the asphalt driveway and building slab. • The new Fire Station will have 3 equipment bays with associated storage, offices, shower and locker rooms, a gymnasium, and a reception area. • The second floor will have a kitchen, dining and dayroom, along with bedrooms. • There will be an access road around the building, along with associated parking. • A multi-use path will be constructed at the rear of the property, linking into existing multi-use paths.
