LONG TERM SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR COGENERATION SYSTEM AT THE COUNTY JUSTICE COMPLEX NO. II

The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to provide long-term service and maintenance for its cogeneration system at the County Justice Complex. The contract will run for two years, covering years 7 and 8 of the 10-year agreement with the Board of Public Utilities (BPU). The contractor will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and servicing the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system, which includes a natural gas-fired genset, exhaust heat recovery, emissions treatment, and other balance of plant equipment. The contractor must be a manufacturer's authorized representative with at least five years of experience in gas engine generator sales and field service for CHP projects in New Jersey. The contractor must also guarantee certified technicians can be on-site within four hours of customer contact. • The contractor must provide all required maintenance and repair work for the CHP system, including scheduled service, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance operations. • The contractor must provide a written report after each service and/or repair visit, detailing the work performed. • The contractor must stock all consumables and parts that require annual service or replacement. • The contractor must have the ability to obtain and transport any major or minor component of the CHP system in case of a failure, within five business days.
