The National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) is seeking a market research report on the Ship Manager Reporting Tool. The tool is a custom reporting solution that extracts and organizes data from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Nautical System Enterprise (NSE) for use in the Ready Reserve Force (RRF) budget cycle and the development of the program's five-year budget request. The tool currently provides 20 custom reports used by MARAD for contract oversight, maintenance management, business planning, and execution monitoring.
• The reports are used by Ship Managers to build business plans, plan and track drydock activities, and monitor the execution of business plans throughout the current fiscal year.
• The NDRF is seeking information on companies that can provide similar services and have experience with the type of work outlined in the Draft Requirements Document.
• The document includes technical questions to help the NDRF understand the capabilities of potential vendors.
