Vertical Polyethylene Liquid Storage Tanks

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking bids for the provision of Vertical Polyethylene Liquid Storage Tanks. The tanks must meet the requirements and specifications stated in the invitation for bid, including being made of high-density linear polyethylene, having a minimum 24-inch vented manway, and being designed to hold brine, liquid calcium chloride, and beet juice. The contract period will be from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2028, with three additional one-year renewal option periods. • The tanks must be seamless, vertical, cylindrical, and flat-bottomed with a dome top. • The tanks must have molded-in lift lugs and UBC 110 mile per hour tie downs. • The tanks must be translucent white in color and have two 3-inch diameter PVC outlets with flanged fittings. • The tanks must have one 3-inch diameter top fill PVC inlet with a double flanged fitting and female threads. • The tanks must be designed, built, and tested to ASTM D-1998-15 or current specification.
