Description
The Town of Albion, New York is seeking bids for the Phipps Road over Otter Creek Culvert Replacement project. The project involves the removal of the existing concrete culvert and replacement with a 3-sided single span precast concrete span unit structure supported by micropiles on spread footings, and associated highway approach work and stream work. An alternate allowed by selection of the contractor is the prefabricated modular cast-in-place bridge system. The contract will be awarded based on the base bid plus the lowest of Alternative 1 and Alternative 2.
• The project duration is 150 days from Notice to Proceed.
• The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds and provide insurance in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
• The SDVOB goal for this project is 6%, and the MBE and WBE goals are 7% and 11%, respectively.
