Description
The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority seeks qualified contractors to perform comprehensive tank repair and rehabilitation at the Stone Robinson Water Resource Recovery Facility. The work includes temporary wastewater pumping and hauling, removal of existing process equipment, sandblasting interior and exterior metal surfaces (including up to 6 inches below grade), fabricating and installing new steel components, applying protective coatings, reinstalling equipment, and restoring full wastewater flow and related infrastructure.
• Temporary pumping and haul‑off of wastewater to maintain operations during shutdown.
• Complete interior/exterior surface preparation (sandblasting) and metal fabrication for deteriorated tank walls.
• Installation of protective coatings, re‑installation of process equipment, and full system re‑commissioning.
