Notice of Intent - The Micromanipulator Company

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure a VERSA DSP Modular Probe System from The Micromanipulator Company on a sole-source basis. The system will be used for probing and testing electronic assemblies, and it must provide both backside and double-sided probing capability, enabled by fine positioning stages that allow precise manipulation for signal access on various board configurations. The delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of the order. • The system must provide vibration isolation to ensure measurement accuracy and an open, flexible architecture to support diverse test setups and future expansion requirements. • The system must be compatible with a wide range of test configurations and PCB layouts. • The system must provide essential capabilities that are not available in other probing solutions. • The FBI currently owns a VERSA system, and expanding their capacity with additional units is necessary to support increasing demand. • Maintaining a consistent platform across all probing operations is essential for quality control.
