The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) intends to enter into a single source contract with AskyReply, Inc., for the update of the Grant Application Process System (GAP). The GAP system is designed to facilitate the reviews of major documents created by Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), including Long Range Transportation Plans (LRTPs), Transportation Improvement Plans (TIPs), and Unified Project Work Programs (UPWPs). The update will modify and add the MPO workflow process documents, allowing MPOs and Transportation Planning Organizations (TPO) to submit new versions of, amendments to, or modifications of these documents for review by multiple agencies. The key features of the update include:
• Modifying and adding the MPO workflow process documents
• Allowing MPOs and TPOs to upload necessary documents
• Requiring users to provide information based on the type of document being uploaded
• Processing documents through specific workflows to coordinate reviews from staff at reviewing agencies
• Based on the four review processes used by the FDOT: New TIPs or LRTPs, LRTP and TIP amendments and modifications, UPWP amendments and modifications, and new UPWPs
