Description
The School District of Philadelphia is seeking a qualified plumbing contractor to perform comprehensive plumbing work for the renovation of the Sayre Morris Recreation Center. The contract is part of a multi‑trade solicitation (NG10792) and covers interior plumbing systems, fixture installation, water‑distribution, drainage, and related code‑compliant work for both the building’s existing facilities and the natatorium. The project is a Level 2 alteration (less than 50 % of floor area) and must meet Philadelphia Building, Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes, as well as ADA and NSF‑61/372 standards.
• Scope includes new pipework, fixture upgrades, shower and bathtub installations (per Section 224017), and installation of HDPE toilet compartments.
• Contractor is responsible for all plumbing within the building envelope and for coordinating with the mechanical, electrical, and general contractors on utility interfaces.
• Mandatory site visit on May 13, 2026; bids must be submitted by June 23, 2026 (extended deadline).
